i-Composites

Styles Creative have recently launched a new website for i-Composites, an innovative company transforming UK industry through cost and energy reduction; enhancing the performance of composite materials through sustainable design and manufacture.

The project has some notable partners including Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Airbus to name but a few.

Styles Creative were responsible for the design and build of this new website and developed a CMS (Content Management System)
enabling the client to update all sections of the website after adequate training.

Get ahead of the Pack

Styles Creative designed and developed a new portfolio website for Inforalgo with the aim of showcasing the companies services and targeting lead generation.

Motorcycle Training Course

Midlands based 'Total Control' offers superadvanced motorcycle training. The specalist course teaches bikers how to ride a motorcycle properly. Students also get the opportunity to learn the hidden secrets of advanced motorcycle training.

Duncan of 'Total Control' came to Styles Creative to market this new course within the UK. Training techniques included on the course have been developed by USA national biking champion 'Lee Parks', who has written a best selling book on high-performance riding skills.

The new site delivers increased functionality with the ability to provisionally book course dates. Additional features include a blog, amazon affiliate integration, newsletter sign-up, interactive image gallery and targeted content.

Wedding Venue

Wedding-Venue.co.uk is a promotional mini-site for Nailcote Hall in Warwickshire. The site aims to showcase Nailcote Hall as a premium wedding venue. Nailcote Hall is the perfect venue to celebrate your special day.

Styles Creative will be conducting monthly internet marketing on the site to increase search engine rankings for targeted keywords including 'Wedding Venues', 'Wedding Venue' and 'Civil Wedding Venue'.

Styles Creative have also been commissioned to redesign and fully manage the existing 'Nailcote Hall' website.

Wharton Arboriculture Ltd

Last week we launched a new website for 'Wharton Arboriculture Ltd'. The site features a unique design that promotes arboriculture and tree services provided by Peter Wharton and his team.

The design uses natural shades that complement the services and information contained within the website. The client has supplied high quality images which we have used to illustrate different sections of the site.

The aim of this website was to create an attractive informative site, geared up to perform well for targeted keywords in the search engines. We will be working closely with Peter, providing ongoing marketing to establish the new site and target new customers.

Engagement Rings

We recently launched the new E-commerce website www.engagement-rings.co.uk

The company specialise in the highest quality engagement rings including solitaire engagement rings, cluster engagement rings, platinum engagement rings, gold engagement rings.

Prior to the launch of the new website Styles Creative developed an optimised holding page. This was to get the site established within the search engines ready for launch.

The project has included the development of a new corporate identity for ‘Engagement-Rings’. The visual identity is clean and modern looking.

The client was keen to showcase their high quality products whilst ensuring ordering an engagement ring was straightforward. Styles Creative developed a smart, informative user-friendly website.

The site features a custom design to reflect the quality of the products showcased. It has been built around the appropriate keywords to obtain strong search engine results. Interactive product galleries and product options ensure that ordering an engagement ring is simple.

Internet Eyes - CCTV Monitoring

Styles Creative have recently launched an exciting new promotional website for Internet Eyes.

Internet Eyes will be an online CCTV monitoring service, designed to combat rising crime by detecting crimes as they happen.

The idea was developed by ‘Tony Morgan’ of Internet Eyes. Styles Creative were commissioned to design and develop a promotional website geared up to registering viewers and businesses for the new online service. Within days of launching, the website received over 10,000 registered viewers. The new idea has also received a lot of attention in the press as well as being featured on the “Inside Out” Show (BBC One, London). The program dedicated airtime to investigate the use of CCTV in the UK.

The new system (Still in development) will enable internet users to register as a viewer to identify crime and be rewarded. Business and property owners can register as a customer to enhance their CCTV security.

Styles Creative developed a simple yet effective design to complement the existing corporate identity of Internet Eyes. The design ties together key elements of the site enticing users to register for the new service. Social networking is also promoted heavily with links to Facebook, Twitter and a blog with the latest news on the project.
The client updates the blog regularly with some of the highlights of developments to the Internet Eyes system and global news features.
Lots of websites and blogs have linked to Internet Eyes, seeing the new website jump to a Google page rank of 5/10 from 0/10 at launch. The website is also receiving hundreds of visitors per day and increased visits during press promotion.

Creative Work Experience Placement

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic graduate to join our creative web design team between 4th January - 5th March 2009.

The individual will enjoy working in a friendly environment of talented hard working graduates. You will gain the knowledge and vital experience needed for todays ever-growing industry.

We offer 'state of the art' technology as well as a comfortable working atmosphere.

Our offices are based in the heart of 'Stratford upon Avon' directly opposite Shakespeare's birthplace. The location provides access to an array of sandwich shops, cafes or restaurants of your choice.

Requirements:
The individual will need to have a keen creative eye and strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

You will be working alongside our web developers to design bespoke web sites, e-commerce web sites, email campaigns, key promotions and flyers.

Experience

Photography and camera experience would be ideal.
A basic knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Archiving of PDFs is advantageous.

Prior to the launch of the new website we developed an optimised holding page. At the time of writing, Benches.co.uk is ranked at number 1 position on Google.co.uk for the search term 'benches'. It also ranks well for other search terms including 'garden benches'.

The E-commerce website was a new venture for an existing client. The client wanted to show off the quality of their products and make ordering on the website a simple process.

We combined a bespoke design with interactive functionalities, search engine optimisiation and relevant content. As a result the website is easy to use and ordering products is a breeze.

Each page on the website contains unique imagery and information, optimised for both search engines and readability.

Welcome to the team, Emily!

We have recently taken on Emily, a new placement student from Leeds Metropolitan University. Emily joins us on a 10 month placement as an online marketing assistant. She is currently studying Events Management and aims to get valuable experience in online marketing and events.

We hope to teach Emily a wide range of marketing skills. She is currently working on promoting two of our in house projects including a Stratford upon Avon website and Leamington Spa website.

Emily loves traveling, discovering new bands and vintage shopping! She is always watching the world of events and has previously worked at the BBC’s Good Food Show and Gardener’s World Live at the NEC, Birmingham.

She hopes to use her previous exhibition experience to her advantage when taking on the roles of Event Co-ordinator and Sales Assistant for ‘Wheelie Bin Covers' (A project run by Styles Creative)

Get A-Head, Cancer Charitable Trust

Today we have launched the new website for "Get A-Head".

"Get A-Head" are a charity fighting head and neck diseases, especially cancer. Through their efforts they have already raised over £4 million. The charity based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham has notable patrons including; Lord Digby Jones of Birmingham, Dr. Hilary Jones, Peter Scudamore, Nigel Wray, Cher and Trevor Francis.

Our designers have adapted the existing identity of "Get A-Head" incorporating it into a smooth fluid design. We worked closely with "Get A-Head" in the planning stages to determine the sites content. The structure was elegantly developed to a professional standard with the integration of an array of features including:

A flash animation of the "Get A-Head" Ostrich
An online donation system
Newsletter sign up
In site search facility
RSS feeds
Contact forms
An interactive Google map
Content managed pages controlling latest news and events
A patient network blog, allowing patients to interact with doctors
A research blog

The aim of the website was to combine relevant content, design, functionality, accessibility and search engine optimisiation into one unified whole. As always the website was fully tested in all mainstream web browsers, with the sites code fully validated.

We enjoyed working on this project and hope "Get A-Head" continue to raise funds for their important cause.

Happy Birthday

The Styles Creative team celebrated their first year of trading on Thursday 18th June at Poets Arbour, Sheep Street, Stratford upon Avon.

The evening started with a champagne reception and canapés. Existing and potential new clients were invited, to discuss web design and examine our portfolio. Lots of useful networking took place!

The evening was a great success and a reward for all our hard work. We look forward to our next birthday and our continued success into the future.

Exposure Tanning

Styles Creative have recently updated the Exposure Tanning website.

Exposure Tanning offers spray tanning, sun beds and beauty treatments in Warwickshire. If your interested in topping up your tan pop down to to your nearest branch. Exposure Tanning have outlets in Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa and Worcester.

Styles Creative have give the website a fresh new look and conducted basic SEO and content update. We have provided the client with access to analytics software to monitor the sites performance. We will be working with them in the future to update the site on a regular basis with new offers and promotions.

Stratford Community Radio

Stratford upon Avon's own community radio station, SCR, was officially launched last week. The station is available through the website www.myscr.co.uk which will be run on a non-profit basis by the people of the town for the benefit of local residents and businesses.

"Stratford Community Radio would like to thank Styles Creative for their invaluable assistance in setting up and managing our website (the door to SCR of course), along with their technical expertise in streaming our content. It goes without saying that we can't recommend them highly enough!"

Programmes have already been scheduled for Fridays, Saturday and Sundays (10am-6pm) each week with many of the founding band of over 50 local volunteers taking a turn at producing and presenting.

We have really enjoyed working on this project and donating our time to support the local community. We will keep you updated with it's progress into the future.

Stephen Newman website

We have recently launched a new website for midlands massage therapist Stephen Newman (www.stephen-newman.co.uk). Although a smaller project than usual, the website has still been developed to the high quality standards of Styles Creative. We have updated his existing website with a smart accessible design. The site includes a content management system to control news and promotions, customised contact forms and interactive Google maps illustrating massage locations.

Stephen has received positive feedback from customers and respected authorities on massage therapy. Search engine optimisation and website development services conducted by Styles Creative are driving relevant traffic to the site. www.stephen-newman.co.uk has already received top page organic listings on Google for targeted key word phrases.

Styles Creative have recently launched www.shakespeares-stratford.com

Shakespeare's Stratford is an information resource for new and previous visitors to Stratford upon Avon. It contains useful information on Stratford hotels, restaurants and attractions.

The site uses high quality photography and features a "Stratford upon Avon Interactive Map" allowing users to view the location of attractions, hotels and restaurants and interact with various display settings.
