Fine Jewellery from UK Jewellers Hathaway Styles Ltd
After months of development we are proud to have completed the E-commerce website for Jewellery Quarter based jewellers Hathaway Styles. The finished result can be seen online at www.hathawaystyles.co.uk
The site needed significant technical expertise throughout. We planned the site so that the users could view their basket and checkout at the click of a button. The aim was to combine an elegant design, search engine optimisiation, relevant content and accessibility while keeping users actions safe and secure.
We created a bespoke design that complemented the style of business without detracting attention from the rings. The design and functionality have also been fully tested across a range of different browsers ensuring accessibility for all users.
As well as the development of the site we also took all the product photography. The hundreds of rings and other products needed to be photographed from several angles to fit into our unique zoom feature. With specialist photography equipment we ensured perfect quality for every product. We combined our Canon 5D professional SLR with specialist macro lenses to get microscopic detail out of the rings that would otherwise be to small for the eye to see. Combined with our lighting set-up consisting of lamps, light boxes and diffuser boxes this ensured a sharp, evenly toned and colour perfect image that is pleasing to the viewer.
Such a large amount of products meant they had to be well organised. The site was structured on a well-researched sitemap. Each page on the website contains unique imagery and information, optimised for both search engines and readability.
